I’ve spent my career helping organizations build the structure their vision requires.

Rick Garrett is the founder of VennCo and an organizational leadership and strategic planning executive with nearly three decades of experience helping organizations clarify direction, strengthen teams, and build the systems required for growth.

Most recently, Rick served as Executive Pastor at Grace Church in Orlando, where he helped lead the organization through more than 10x growth in revenue, staffing, engagement, and operating complexity. Working closely with the founder and CEO, he helped translate vision into strategy, structure, leadership systems, and execution across the organization.

His work has consistently lived at the intersection of people and organizational performance—strengthening leaders and teams while building the structure, systems, and accountability required for the organization to succeed.

Today, Rick brings that experience to owners and leadership teams navigating growth, change, and complexity—helping them turn ideas into clear priorities, practical plans, and organizations capable of carrying what comes next.

The name is inspired by the Venn diagram—a way of seeing how different parts relate, where they overlap, and what becomes possible when they meet.

That is how we think about organizations, and how we approach every engagement.

Every mark makes a claim. VennCo is built on two.

The Truss

Two circles overlap. That much is familiar. VennCo fills the overlap with three lines and refers to them as The Truss.

The circles establish the relationship between an organization’s present reality and its intended future, while The Truss represents the structure required to move from one to the other.

In organizations, the overlap is where load accumulates.

Responsibility converges. Complexity compounds. Organizational friction and strain often emerge in an unbuilt overlap—real weight collecting in a place where structure was assumed rather than designed.

The three members of the Truss represent: Strategy, Capacity, and Execution. Their increasing weight represents load instead of rank. Strategy is the lightest and first one drawn; nothing stands without it. Execution brings action and carries the greatest operational load.

The Truss stands as a reminder that structure must be intentionally built.

The Span

Borrowed from architectural drafting, the Span is a hairline rule with a tick at each end—a notation that says this distance has been measured.

The Span measures the divergence between an organization’s current trajectory and its desired future.

There is no arrow. No upward curve. The mark makes no promise about the distance; it simply asserts that the distance is real and has been measured.

The Truss carries. The Span measures.

Together, they express the work of VennCo: measure the distance honestly, then build the structure required to cross it.
