Strategic Planning Retreat

Three days to design the next three years.

Your organization can stay busy without a clear direction.

Day-to-day demands leave little room for the decisions that shape the future. Opportunities remain unresolved, priorities multiply, and leaders can move forward with different assumptions about what matters most.

The Drawing Room creates focused time for a disciplined process to decide what comes next — and what it will require to get there.

The Drawing Room creates focused time for a disciplined process to decide what comes next — and what it will require to get there.

Three days.
Three essential steps.
One working plan.

The Drawing Room is a collaborative process with your leadership team.

During the retreat, Rick guides your leaders as they examine the organization, test assumptions, evaluate opportunities, and make the decisions that shape its future. Afterward, he consolidates those decisions into a working strategic plan.

The work unfolds through three connected steps:

Rick turned a stream of ideas and possibilities into clear goals and priorities. He brought focus and clarity to the process without ever making us feel like we were losing the bigger vision.

We left our work with Rick feeling excited, focused, and much more confident about where we’re headed.

From strategic decisions to a clear path forward.

The engagement continues after the initial three days:

  1. Three-Day Strategic Planning Retreat
Your leadership team gathers the necessary information, makes the critical decisions, and aligns around the future.

  1. Working Plan Development
Rick organizes and consolidates those decisions into a cohesive strategic plan.

  1. Half-Day Plan Refinement
Your team reviews the working plan, resolves remaining questions, and confirms the direction.

  1. Three Months of Follow-Up and Program Development
During two meetings each month, your team develops the implementation programs, resolves remaining questions, and begins advancing the initiatives required to support the plan.

From there, the remaining work can transition to your operational leader—or continue with Rick through a separate Implementation Support proposal.
